Lucy Guzman, P.E.
President
Lyudmila (Lucy) Guzman, P.E., President of LGM, has an abundance of experience in conceptual through final bridge design, bridge rehabilitation, constructability review, construction support services, construction engineering, building and special structure analysis and design, highway design and bridge condition inspections.
During her career as a Structural Engineer, Project Engineer, and Project Manager, she has been responsible for the preparation and review of designs, details, specifications, cost estimates and construction schedules, as well as coordinating all aspects of design and construction projects within the Northeastern United States.
Prior to founding LGM Consultants, Ms. Guzman had worked for several major bridge and structural engineering firms. As a Project Manager/ Structural Lead for Dewberry, Inc. she was responsible for project coordination, structural design and construction support services for the rehabilitation of 1.5 miles of BQE from Broadway to 25th avenue in Queens. At the cost of almost $200 million it was the biggest NYSDOT project at the time.
Michael Gurvich, P.E.
Principal
Michael Gurvich, P.E., Principal of LGM, has over 30 years of extensive experience in analysis and design of bridges, transportation structures, buildings, special structures, highways, construction engineering, bridge condition inspections, and construction support services, and bridge construction inspection and administration.
His experience and expertise also include rigorous finite element analysis, seismic analysis and retrofit of bridges, buildings and special structures. Mr. Gurvich has been involved in numerous complex construction engineering projects that involved development of structure demolition and erection procedures, design of temporary excavation support systems, structural lifting operations and shoring systems, stage construction and etc.
He has also broad range of technical and managerial experience in commercial and residential building projects and special structural design for public and private sector clients. In addition, Mr. Gurvich’s professional experience includes forensic engineering and peer review.
