TAPPAN ZEE BRIDGE

 

 

Tappan Zee Bridge -Deck Rehabilitation Contract No.2  

TANY 10-9B, the New York State Thruway Authority

 

LGM participated in construction inspection for the Tappan Zee Deck Rehabilitation project. The scope of services included removal of the existing deck, miscellaneous steel repairs in the main span, installation of new pre-cast deck panels, replacements of expansion joints and bearings, installation of temporary traffic signals, maintenance and protection of traffic, and preparation of as-built plans

QUEENS RAMPS AT THE RFK BRIDGE

 

 

Construction Inspection Services for the Reconstruction of the Manhattan to Queens Ramps at the RFK Bridge,

Project RK-73, MTA Bridges and Tunnels

 

LGM has been involved in construction inspection services for the design-built project for Reconstruction of the Manhattan to Queens Ramp at the RFK Bridge. The project scope included a partial replacement and widening of the existing ramp, deck replacement, seismic retrofit, expansion joints and bearing replacement, retrofit of existing spread foundations, complex maintenance and protection of traffic, extensive coordination with various agencies and etc.

 

Construction Inspection for Toll Plaza Improvements (Phase B) at the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge

Project VN-03B, MTA Bridges and Tunnels

 

LGM participated in construction inspection for Toll Plaza Improvements at the Verrazano Narrows Bridge. The scope of services consisted of construction of the new Narrow Road South and East Bound Lilly Pond ramps, including demolition of the existing steel bridges, installation of micropiles, construction of new cast in place concrete abutments, new steel composite girders and monolithic concrete deck slab.

VERRAZANO BRIDGE

 

 

Tappan Zee Bridge:  Bridge Repairs and Deck Rehabilitation,

TANY 05-31B, New State Thruway Authority

 

LGM was involved in the construction inspection project for Bridge Repairs and Deck Rehabilitation at the Tappan Zee Bridge.

 

The project scope consisted of various structural steel repairs to the existing steel superstructure, inspection of new precast concrete deck panels; partial demolition of the exiting slab and construction of the new deck system, concrete repairs to the existing substructure, maintenance and protection of traffic, temporary construction and etc.

Replacement of I-87 Bridges Over Seven Lakes Drive

MP 34.03 and 34.01 and East Village Road at MP 36.13 and 36.1; Village of Sloatsburg, Rockland County and Town of Tuxedo, Orange County, New York

Project No. TANY10-19B, New York State Thruway Authority

 

LGM participated in construction inspection for Replacement of two I-87 bridges. The project scope included construction of the temporary excavation support system comprising of soldier piles and timber lagging, pile foundations, cast in place concrete abutments, precast concrete bridge units, steel curved girders, composite concrete deck slab, precast T-wall installation, drainage and roadway improvements, stage construction and complex maintenance and protection of traffic.  The firm also provided the construction support services including review of shop drawings, demolition and erection procedures, temporary structures,

 

Construction Inspection for Reconstruction of Nostrand Avenue from Flushing Avenue to Atlantic Avenue, New York City

Contract #: HWK1129, New York City Department of Design & Construction

 

LGM provides construction inspection services for Reconstruction of Nostrand Avenue for NYC DDC. The scope of services includes construction of distribution water mains, fire hydrants, combined sewer, storm and sanitary sewers, trunk water mains, catch basins, pedestrian ramps, roadway reconstruction, traffic lights and street lighting, planting trees and etc.
